A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the horse body, neck, and legs in caramel brown, leaving the small gaps between the legs and under the belly white.
- 2Color the flowing mane, the long tail, and the forelock in golden yellow, following the wavy strands.
- 3Fill the rolling hill and the bushes on both sides with light green and grass green, then add grass green to the small tufts of grass.
- 4Paint the sky with sky blue on the two clouds and color the sun in golden yellow, leaving the rays as clean lines.
- 5Color the hooves charcoal gray, the inside of the ear coral pink, and the mouth dark brown, leaving the eyes and shine spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown along the lower edge of the horse body and a bit more shade in the mane for depth.
