Happy Heart and Diamond Shape Friends

A smiling heart and a smiling diamond sit side by side, with the diamond tucked slightly behind the heart. Both have big round eyes with shiny highlights, little curved eyebrows, and open mouths showing a tongue. The heart is a plain, smooth outline, while the diamond has a flat top, angled facets across the crown, and long lines running down to a point at the bottom. The thick, clean outlines make it easy for small hands to stay inside the lines. This free printable works well for a shapes lesson: ask kids to name each shape, then color the heart one shade and give each facet of the diamond a different color to show how one shape can be split into smaller sections. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils all work nicely here.
