Happy Oval and Rectangle Characters Waving Hello

A tall oval and a tall rectangle stand side by side, each with a big smiling face, round eyes with little highlights, and curved eyebrows. Both characters have thin legs and rounded shoes, and each one waves a small hand from the outer side of its body. The oval sits on the left and the rectangle on the right, so their edges nearly touch in the middle. The lines are thick and clean, and the large open shapes leave plenty of room for crayons or markers. This free printable works well for preschool shape lessons. Ask kids to color the oval one color and the rectangle another, then point out how the curved edge of the oval differs from the straight sides and corners of the rectangle.
