Up on tiptoe in a grassy meadow, a cheerful little mouse with big round ears and sparkly eyes stretches one paw toward a shiny bubble drifting above. It has an open, happy smile, round blushing cheeks and a small leaf-shaped tuft of hair on top of its head. The other paw is tucked against its chest and one foot kicks back like a dance step. Small grass tufts and motion dashes fill the ground, and tiny lines beside the bubble show it bobbing in the air. Thick, clean outlines and large open areas keep it easy for small hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the mouse's body, head, both ears' outer shapes, and the raised arms with light gray, using gentle strokes.
- 2Color the inside of both big ears baby pink, leaving a thin gray border around each one.
- 3Color the open mouth rose pink so it stands out against the gray face.
- 4Add baby pink cheeks on both sides of the face, just below and beside the eyes.
- 5Leave the eye whites, the little eye shine spots, and the bubble's shiny highlights white so they sparkle.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra light gray shading under the belly and arm for depth. Keep the grass and background white.
