Juggling Octopus With Starfish and Seashells

This smiling octopus has big sparkly eyes and an open mouth, and it's juggling. Two curly tentacles are raised over its head to keep four things in the air: two starfish and two scallop shells, with little motion lines tracing their arc. Small circles and spots dot the round head, and the suckers on each arm are drawn clearly. The rest of the tentacles spread over a sandy seafloor scattered with pebbles. Wavy seaweed and rounded rocks stand on both sides, and a few bubbles rise in the background. Bold outlines and open spaces keep this free printable easy for little hands. Bright purple or orange works for the octopus, and soft pink shells with yellow starfish will make the juggled treasures pop against the sea. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the octopus head, body and all eight arms in lavender, leaving the small round suckers along the tentacles white.
- 2Fill both starfish with orange, then color the two shells: the left shell in soft pink and the right shell in sky blue.
- 3Color the seaweed clumps grass green and the two rocks and the small pebbles warm gray, and fill the floating bubbles with sky blue.
- 4Add dark violet spots to the top of the head and the small patches near the eyes, keeping the eye whites and highlights white.
- 5Finish with a coral pink open mouth and a cherry red tongue, then leave the sandy background white.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker lavender shadow along the lower edges of the tentacles for a bit of depth.
