Rainy Day Pig Holding an Umbrella
Coloring guide
Standing upright on its hind legs, a smiling little pig holds a big open umbrella in one hoof while raindrops fall all around. Bold, clear lines outline its floppy ear, round snout, wide-open grin and curly tail, which keeps things easy for small hands. A muddy puddle sits at the pig's feet, with water splashing up on both sides. A small barn with an X-shaped door and a short fence rest on a gentle grassy hill behind, with a leafy bush and a few grass tufts nearby. Pink works for the pig, bright yellow or red for the umbrella, and soft blue for the raindrops and puddle splashes. Print or download this free page for your growing collection. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the umbrella: color the red, yellow, and blue panels, leaving the top tip and rim in golden yellow.
- 2Fill the pig's snout, inner ear, and smile with salmon pink and coral pink, and color the curly tail and paw in light pink.
- 3Color the umbrella handle and the hands holding it in caramel and medium brown, then add the hooves in medium brown.
- 4Color the barn walls and roof in bright red and dark brown, add the rust red door, and make the windows light blue.
- 5Add the bright green grass patch, the bushes in forest green, and the light blue puddle splashes and raindrops.
- 6Leave the pig's cheek white and finish with a light gray fence for a clean, bright look. Optional: add a little darker shading under the umbrella for depth.
