Happy Walking Piglet Hatchimal
Coloring guide
Mid-step across the page with one foot lifted, this cheerful little piglet-style Hatchimal looks ready for a stroll. It has big round eyes with white sparkle spots, a wide oval snout with two nostrils, and an open smile with a tongue peeking out. Small pointed ears sit on each side of the head, with a tuft of feathers on top and little eyebrow marks above the eyes. The round belly has a patch of feathery scallops, and a small wing sticks out from its side. Shapes are big and clean, so little hands can color them easily. Soft pink fits the snout and body, while warm yellow or light blue would help the feathered belly patch and wing stand out. Save it as a free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big head, round body, curly tail, top tuft and both ears with caramel brown, leaving the eye shine spots white.
- 2Color the snout, the top of the snout, the belly patch and the arm with cream, adding the little wavy lines on the belly patch with a slightly darker stroke.
- 3Color the two legs and both feet with dark brown so they stand out from the body.
- 4Fill the inside of the ears and the lower edge of the mouth with light pink, then color the open mouth with salmon pink.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the gap beside the tail white so the piglet pops off the page.
- 6Optional: add a few soft darker strokes on the head and body in caramel brown, and fill the pupils and eyebrows solid for a bold finish.
