Waving Bee With Little Sparkle Stars

Coloring guide
This friendly bee has a big round head, two wide eyes and an open smile. One hand waves hello and the other rests on its round belly. Two curly antennae with ball tips stand on top, and a large wing sits behind the body on each side. The striped tummy has curved bands that are easy to color, and four small legs with oval feet dangle underneath. Four little sparkle stars float around the bee, one on each side of the page. Thick, clean outlines make this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still learning to stay inside the lines. Bright yellow stripes, sky blue wings and orange cheeks and legs would make the face pop. More like this: explore the Bee, Frog and Raccoon coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bee head, body sections, arms, waving hand, legs, feet, antenna tips and sparkle stars with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites and the small eye shines white.
- 2Fill both wings, including the lower left wing and the base near the body, with sky blue.
- 3Color the two body stripes across the middle and lower body with charcoal gray, keeping the stripes as neat bands.
- 4Fill the open mouth with deep maroon and add the tongue in coral pink.
- 5Optional: add light shading on the wings and the edge of the body with a slightly darker tone of the same color to make the bee look more dimensional.
