Hibiscus and Plumeria Lei Wreath, Hawaiian Style

Coloring guide
An oval flower lei takes up the whole page, built from hibiscus and plumeria blossoms set one after the other around an empty middle. Five-petal plumeria flowers sit at the top, down both sides, and at the bottom. Ruffled hibiscus blooms fill the gaps between them, each with a long stamen dotted at the tip. At the top, where the two ends of the lei meet, there's a twisted rope tie. A few leaves peek out between flowers. The center is left blank on purpose, so kids can write their name, draw something, or add a short message. Bold outlines and large petals make it friendly for crayons, markers and young colorers. Bright pink or red suits the hibiscus, and soft yellow with pale centers suits the plumeria. It's a free printable that fits a summer lesson or a luau party table. Looking for more? A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- coral pink
- soft yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the hibiscus flowers: fill every hibiscus petal with coral pink, working your way around the wreath, and leave the flower centers' tiny tips as they are.
- 2Color the one small petal peeking out near the bottom of the wreath with soft yellow.
- 3Leave all the plumeria petals white so they stand out against the coral hibiscus blooms.
- 4Keep the empty center of the wreath and the thin rope at the top white, as background.
- 5Optional: Add a little shading along the edges of the coral pink petals with a slightly darker pink for a bit more depth.
