Heart and Lungs Circulatory System Diagram With Network Vessels

A realistic heart sits in the center of this line drawing, with branching tubes running out to three other shapes. Two large wing-shaped lungs spread out to the left and right, each filled with a maze of winding channels and small irregular openings. A round circle sits above the heart and an oval sits below it, and both are packed with the same kind of net-like pattern. Thin vessels connect each shape back to the heart, almost like roots or branches. Try coloring the vessels leading into the heart in blue and the ones leading out in red, then use soft pinks or yellows for the spaces inside the lungs and the round and oval shapes. It works well for a science lesson on how blood travels through the body. The page is free to print, and the large open areas suit markers or colored pencils.
