Helicopter Firefighters Dropping Water on a Forest Fire
Coloring guide
At the controls of a helicopter with a flame emblem on its side sits a smiling firefighter pilot in a helmet. A second firefighter climbs down a long rope that dangles from the belly. A big water bucket swings at the end of that rope, and drops splash down toward the treetops below. Underneath are rolling hills, fluffy bushes and tall pine trees, with puffy clouds and a sun with little rays in the corner. Young colorers get lots of variety, from the large rotor blades and tail propeller to the small window panes and boots. Red for the helicopter body and flame badge looks great, and light blue water pops against a green forest. Print or download it free, and maybe keep a few extra copies handy. Looking for more? - 2Fill the helicopter body, roof, rotor blades, tail fin and the water bucket with fire red, keeping the nose and tail boom white.
- 3Color the hills and open ground with light green, then the pine trees and bushes with grass green and forest green.
- 4Paint the firefighters: helmets in bright orange and golden yellow, faces and hands in light peach, shirts in dusty blue, and pants in navy blue.
- 5Use charcoal gray for the rotor hub, skids and tail rotor, leaving the small skid highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker forest green to the bushes and a hint of navy blue to the water in the bucket for depth.
