A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the grass and tree leaves in grass green, and use forest green for the darker bushes and the leaves on the left tree.
- 2Color the dirt path and the ground in warm peach, then fill the trunks of both trees in chestnut brown.
- 3Fill the boy's t-shirt and the shirt collar in sky blue, and his shorts in navy blue. Color his sneakers and sock areas in royal blue, leaving the socks white.
- 4Color the girl's t-shirt in hot pink and her shorts in lavender purple. Use chestnut brown for her ponytail, and use warm peach for her face, arms and legs.
- 5Add the bike details: the frame and handlebars in sky blue, the tires and spokes in light gray and charcoal gray, and the helmet in navy blue with sky blue shell. Leave the sneaker on the girl's white foot white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading in a darker shade on the shadows under the characters and inside the bike wheels, and keep the eyes and small highlights white.
