Howling Wolf on a Rock Zentangle Moon Scene
Coloring guide
A single wolf stands on a flat rocky ledge with its head tipped back, howling at a big empty circle that works as the moon. The wolf's body is filled with zentangle style patterns, including oval stones across the back, tiny dots, woven lines and flower shapes on the legs. The tail is made of fine feathery strokes. Around the circle is a decorative border with mushrooms at the top left, round white balls on branching trees at the top right, a large leaf at the lower right, and curling leaf and swirl shapes in the lower left corner. Because the patterns are small and detailed, this page suits older kids, teens and adults who like to color with fine tip pens or pencils. Try a different color for each pattern section on the wolf, then leave the big moon white or give it a soft pale glow. The printable page is free to download.
