Howling Wolf Standing With Head Tilted Back

Howling Wolf Standing With Head Tilted Back coloring page

Coloring guide

A single wolf stands in side view with its head thrown back and its muzzle pointed up, mid-howl. The mouth is open at the top of the page, and one pointed ear lies back along the neck. Shaggy, jagged fur lines hang from the throat and chest, while the back, belly and legs are drawn with smooth, bold outlines. Four paws rest on the ground, and a long bushy tail hangs down at the right with a few short fur strokes inside it. There is no background, so the whole page is open space. The large empty body is easy for small hands to fill. Try grey and white crayons with a darker shade on the chest fur, then add a night sky around the wolf with a moon of your own. It also works well for talking about why wolves howl.
