Humpback Whale Swimming Upward With Long Flippers

Humpback Whale Swimming Upward With Long Flippers coloring page

Coloring guide

A large humpback whale is drawn in a diagonal pose, with its head tilted up toward the top right and its tail curving back toward the top left. The underside of the throat is covered in long, curved grooves that run along the body, and you can see a single round eye with a few small lines around it. Two long, narrow flippers stretch down and out from the body, and the edges of the flippers and tail look a little bumpy. There is no background, so the whole page is open space. Kids can color the body in two tones, such as dark blue on top and lighter blue or gray on the grooved belly. It also works well for a quick lesson on how whales use those throat grooves when they feed. The big flippers are easy to fill in for younger children.
