Backyard Treehouse Wave With a Puppy in a Wagon

A girl stands on the porch of a wooden treehouse and waves, while a boy in a cap and overalls waves back from the grass below. He is pulling a small wagon with a happy puppy sitting inside, its tongue hanging out. The treehouse has a peaked roof, plank walls with round bolts, a curtained doorway, a square window and a ladder made of simple rungs leading up the thick trunk. Behind them are rolling hills, a few small trees, a sun with pointed rays, two clouds and a butterfly. Daisy-style flowers and tufts of grass sit in the foreground. The large leafy canopy fills the top of the page, leaving plenty of open space. Try coloring the treehouse boards in different browns, then ask kids to name what they would do in a treehouse of their own. This free printable works well for crayons or colored pencils.
