Kids Building Sandcastles on the Beach Near a Lighthouse

Coloring guide
Two children sit on the sand building a sandcastle right where the waves roll in. The girl has pigtails and goggles pushed up on her forehead, and she holds a small shovel over a bucket-shaped tower. The boy sits beside her with his bare feet out, tipping a bucket over to make another tower. Short sand walls and several castle turrets sit around them. Behind them, small waves wash the shore, and a sailboat floats out on the water. On the far shore you can see a lighthouse, a tall church steeple, two houses and some bushes. A smiling sun with pointed rays shines above a puffy cloud. Try coloring the sand in two shades of tan so the wet sand near the waves looks darker than the dry sand. This printable page also works well for talking about what to pack for a beach day.
