Kids Holding Up the Earth Among Flowers

A smiling boy and girl stand on a small grassy patch, each reaching up with one hand to hold a large globe between them. The globe shows the continents with outlined land shapes, including the Americas, Africa and parts of Europe and Asia. The boy wears a long-sleeved top, pants and rounded shoes, and he has short spiky hair. The girl has pigtails, a button-front dress with a ragged hem, and boots. Both have big round eyes and open arms. Behind them are leafy bushes, and a cluster of flowers sits at their feet. More small flowers float in the air around the globe. This free printable page works well for Earth Day lessons. Try coloring the oceans blue and the land green or brown, then ask kids to point out the continents they know and talk about ways to take care of them.
