A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the sky pale blue and the grass and tree leaves light green, with bright green and leaf green for the darker bushes and trees.
- 2Fill the main outfits next: the boy's shirt and sleeves in sky blue, his shorts in navy blue, the girl's shirt in coral pink and her shorts in lavender purple.
- 3Color the little boy's red shirt and the background kids' golden yellow and bright blue clothes, then add the dog's orange-brown ears and warm brown tree trunks.
- 4Paint all the skin areas, including faces, arms and knees, with peach skin, and give the hair warm brown, dark brown or caramel brown.
- 5Color the girl's coral pink shoes and the boy's sky blue shoes, then fill the soccer ball's dark panels with charcoal.
