Kite Flying Gengar Ghost on a Grassy Hill
Coloring guide
Across a grassy meadow runs a smiling little ghost-like creature, holding the string of a big diamond kite with wide eyes turned up to the sky. It has a round head with a curl on top and a wavy, wispy tail trailing behind. The kite has crossed spars and a long tail tied with three bows, so there are plenty of small spaces to color. Rolling hills, round leafy trees, little bushes and three puffy clouds sit behind the character, and grass tufts and tiny flowers dot the ground. Soft lavender or sky blue works for the body, and bright red, yellow and green would look good on the kite bows. Download the free PDF for a quiet, creative moment. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- tangerine orange
- sky blue
- leaf green
- ocean blue
- tomato red
- rose pink
- forest green
- lemon yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big ghost body, its curly tail, and the raised hand: fill them all with tangerine orange.
- 2Color the three clouds in the sky with sky blue, keeping the sky itself white.
- 3Fill the trees, the right hill, and the grass tufts with leaf green, then use forest green for the two bushes on the right hill.
- 4Color the kite in three sections: tomato red for the top, ocean blue for the lower left, and leaf green for the right side.
- 5Add the open mouth in rose pink and the two ribbon bows' tails in lemon yellow, leaving the eye whites and the left hill white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker orange along the edges of the ghost body for a bit of shading, and keep the eye whites bright and clean.
