Last Supper Table Scene for Good Friday

Coloring guide
A long wooden table stretches across the page. At its center, a long-haired, bearded man holds out both hands while the people around him lean in to listen. Six men sit along each side, and two more are shown from behind up front, some wearing headbands. On the table you will find a tall goblet, a big bowl of grapes, a large loaf of bread, small round loaves and several cups. The room behind is stone brick, with three arched windows showing a hilltop town, two hanging lamps, and potted olive plants in decorated urns on either side. Filed under Good Friday, it suits a Sunday school lesson or a quiet family talk. Rich purple works for the grapes, warm golden tan for the bread, and soft blue for the sky in the windows. Print it free for a class project or weekend craft. Love this Good Friday coloring page? You might also enjoy our Sugar Skulls (Día de Muertos) and Matryoshka Dolls coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: fill the stone walls, arches and ceiling beams with pale gold, then color the wall stones around the windows.
- 2Color the window views next: fill the arched window skies with sky blue and the distant hills and town with steel blue, leaving the small details for later.
- 3Add the robes: paint the two front figures in royal blue and forest green, the bench and foreground figures in tan and caramel brown, and the sash and robe edges in brick red.
- 4Fill the table and food: color the wooden table and tablecloth in caramel brown, the bread loaf in honey orange, the grape plate and cups in caramel brown, and the jars in soft yellow.
- 5Color the people's hair, beards, and hands in dark brown, warm gray, and leaf green, and the arm and sleeve details in golden yellow.
- 6Optional tip: add a little extra shading with a darker shade of each color in the folds of the robes and under the table edge. Keep the central robe and eye whites white so Jesus stands out.
