Leaning Good Friday Cross Ringed by Lilies

Leaning Good Friday Cross Ringed by Lilies coloring page

Coloring guide

A large plain cross leans slightly to the right in the center of the page, with lilies gathered all around it. Several open flowers with wide, curled petals and thin stamens in the middle sit on the left, right, and lower areas. Long pointed leaves, some filled in solid black, tuck in behind and beneath the cross, and a few closed buds point upward near the top. The bold outlines and big open shapes make it easy for younger kids to color. Try leaving the cross white or coloring it soft brown or gold, then use pale yellows, pinks, or whites for the lilies and deep greens for the leaves. It also works well for a quiet Good Friday talk about why lilies are often paired with the cross. Print as many copies as you need for a class or family table.
