Leaning Palm Tree With Spiky Fronds and Curved Hill

Coloring guide
A single palm tree leans across the page, its slim trunk curving down and widening slightly at the base. At the top, about eight big fronds spread out in every direction, each one drawn with sharp, jagged edges that look like feathery leaves. A long curved line sweeps up from the lower left to the right edge and crosses behind the trunk, like a gentle hill or stretch of shoreline. The fronds have a few tiny dots scattered near the center, and the ground is just a flat line at the bottom. The large open spaces make this an easy page for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring each frond in a different shade of green, then add a warm brown to the trunk and a sandy yellow to the curved hill. The printable format also works well for a summer classroom activity about tropical plants.
