Baby Unicorn Leaping Beneath a Rainbow
Coloring guide
This baby unicorn is mid-bound, front legs tucked up and back legs stretched out behind. It grins wide with big sparkly eyes and long lashes. The wavy mane and flowing tail are full of stripes to color, and the spiral horn is waiting for a bit of color too. A heart and two tiny stars sit on its hip. Over its head, a large multi-band rainbow arcs above two fluffy clouds, with small stars scattered through the sky. Grass tufts and three round-petaled flowers cover the ground below. Gold for the horn and soft pinks and purples for the mane look lovely, and you can match the flowers to the rainbow bands. A free printable for preschoolers and early elementary kids who like big shapes mixed with small details. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the unicorn's body, face, and legs with pale lavender, leaving the small highlight on the mane white.
- 2Color the rainbow arc from the outside in: bubblegum pink, tangerine orange, lemon yellow, lime green, then sky blue, and fill the two fluffy clouds with baby blue.
- 3Fill the mane and tail strands one by one, alternating lemon yellow, sky blue, rose pink, bubblegum pink, and orchid purple so the stripes look like a rainbow.
- 4Color the hooves and the ears with royal purple and blush pink, then add the spiral horn with lemon yellow, tangerine orange, and lime green bands.
- 5Add the stars with lemon yellow, the heart on the body with bubblegum pink, and the flowers and grass with bubblegum pink, orchid purple, and leaf green.
- 6Optional: Add a little soft purple shading along the belly and under the legs to make the unicorn look fluffy.
