Leaping Mew and a Rainbow: Free Mewtwo Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Mew is caught in the middle of a jump here, arms stretched wide and mouth open in a big grin. Its long, thin tail swoops up and curls across the top of the page. A rainbow arcs across the lower half, with fluffy clouds tucked around its base, and more clouds float along the left and right edges, leaving lots of sky to color. Big shiny eyes, pointed ears and round paws are easy to outline, and the large open shapes work well for little kids with chunky crayons. Soft pink looks sweet on Mew, and each rainbow band can get its own color, with light blue behind the clouds. Save it as a free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft. Fans of Mewtwo coloring pages often like Bulbasaur and Charizard as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- tangerine orange
- cream
- slate gray
- golden yellow
- grass green
- cherry red
- coral pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the clouds: fill the four fluffy clouds in the sky with sky blue, leaving the background white.
- 2Color the rainbow bands from the outside in: cherry red for the outer arc, then tangerine orange, golden yellow, and grass green.
- 3Fill the inner rainbow area and the left red end with slate gray and cherry red so the rainbow looks complete.
- 4Color the cat's body, front left leg, and the lower part of the body in cream, keeping the eye whites and eye shine white.
- 5Fill the cat's head, ears, and the area behind the neck with tangerine orange, then add coral pink to the open mouth.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the bottom edges of the cat and clouds with a slightly darker shade of the same color for depth.
