Letter W Wolf and Pocket Watch Alphabet Page
Coloring guide
A large outlined capital and lowercase Ww sits in the top left corner of this alphabet page. Beside it hangs a round pocket watch with a ring at the top, a small crown, and a long chain that loops down the right side and ends in a little bar. The clock face shows numbers 1 through 12, with the hands pointing at about 8 o'clock. Below the watch, a wolf strides across the page with its head low, ears up, mouth slightly open to show teeth, and a bushy tail trailing behind. A few shadow strokes run under its paws. Try this for a letter W lesson: have kids color the wolf and the watch, then say each W word out loud. The clock numbers also make a nice quick practice for reading time. This printable page works well for preschool and kindergarten centers.
