Lighthouse on a Cliff, Adult Coloring Scene with Seagulls
Coloring guide
A tall striped lighthouse rises from a rocky cliff above the sea. The tower has three arched windows, a railed balcony, and a domed lantern room with a round light and a small pole on top. Beside it sits a little cottage with a chimney, a window and a door, and leafy bushes and grass tufts grow nearby. Three seagulls cross the sky near puffy outlined clouds. On the right a sailboat floats on wavy water, while big curling waves with tiny bubbles splash around the base of the rocks. Bright red and white bands would look great on the lighthouse, with blues and teals blended through the waves. The large shapes and clear lines work for relaxed grown-up coloring and for kids ready for more of a challenge. Free to print as a PDF. - 2Fill the clouds and the lantern glass with pale blue, then color the grass on the cliff top in grass green and the bush in leaf green.
- 3Paint the cliff rocks in sandy brown, with the small rock near the waves in warm gray and the boat hull in dark brown.
- 4Color the lighthouse red bands, the top dome, and the gallery railing in lighthouse red, and the house roof in the same red. Fill the house walls and the small house details in cream.
- 5Add the golden yellow glow in the middle of the lantern, and the house door in dark brown.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the rocks and the sea for depth. Leave the lighthouse white bands, seagulls, sails and foam white.
