Lily Pad Dragonfly Beside a Water Lily

Standing on a big round lily pad, this cartoon dragonfly wears a wide smile, sparkly round eyes and two curly antennae with little balls on top. Simple curved lines mark its four rounded wings, and the long segmented tail stretches back along the edge of the pad. Four thin legs keep it upright. Next to it, a water lily with layered pointed petals is in full bloom, and small ripple lines curve around the pad so it feels like a pond. Large shapes and bold lines make this a nice free printable for crayons or chunky markers, especially for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft blues and purples suit the wings, with green for the pad and pink for the petals. The striped tail is also handy for practicing two alternating colors.
