Lion Cub Hatchimal Bounding in a Leafy Mane

A round-faced lion cub with big shiny eyes and a small button nose bounds across the page, one arm stretched out and one foot lifted mid-step. Its mane is built from dozens of overlapping leaves, each with a tiny vein line, and a smaller leafy collar sits beneath the chin. The cub also has little round ears, a sweet smile and a textured, scale-like patch on its chest and leg. The paw shows toe details and a couple of small dots. With no background, the whole page belongs to the character, and kids can concentrate on coloring each leaf, which is good practice for small hands. Layer greens, yellows and oranges through the mane for an autumn feel, then use a warm golden tan on the face. Print or download this free page for a fun afternoon. Looking for more?
