Little Bird Flying Down With a Flower

Coloring guide
A round, chubby little bird swoops downward with both wings stretched out wide, the feathers drawn as long curved stripes. Its tail fans up behind it in a few pointed tips. The bird has small dot eyes and a tiny pointed beak, and it holds the stem of a flower in its beak. The blossom hangs below with several large petals marked by thin curved lines and a small ruffled center. The big open shapes on the bird's body and head are easy for younger kids to fill in, while the feather stripes and petal lines give older kids more detail to work on. Try coloring each wing feather in a slightly different shade of blue or brown so the stripes stand out, then pick a soft spring color like pink or yellow for the petals. This free printable also works well for a spring bird talk in class.
