A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the chick's body, head crest and the daisy center by filling them with golden yellow, and leave the two big eye whites empty.
- 2Fill the chick's beak and both feet with tangerine orange, then add a little coral red inside the open mouth.
- 3Color the daisy petals light pink and the two flower leaves and grass blades leaf green.
- 4Fill the butterfly's big wings with bubblegum pink, then color the outer wing edges and lower wings violet purple.
- 5Paint the butterfly's head and the first body segments sky blue, the middle and tail segments royal blue, and add golden yellow dots on the wing spots.
- 6Optional: add a few lighter or darker strokes of the same color on the chick's body and petals to give them a bit of shine and depth.
