A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the skin areas, including the face, belly, and arms, with light peach, and leave the eye whites blank.
- 2Color all the long flowing hair with bright red, working around the star clip.
- 3Fill the mermaid tail scales with teal, then color the tail fins and the tail base with mint green.
- 4Color the three fish bodies with golden yellow and add orange stripes and fins to each one.
- 5Color the bubbles with sky blue, leaving the shiny highlight spots white.
- 6Finish with the two shells in bright purple and the star hair clip in soft lilac. Optional: add a few darker teal strokes along the scales for depth.
