Bubble-Blowing Little Witch with Pumpkin

This little witch is blowing one huge bubble through a small wand, and her other hand holds a bottle of bubble solution. She's smiling under a pointed hat with a buckle band, and her wavy hair spills out below it. Her outfit has a collared dress with a belt, striped stockings and curly-toed buckled boots. Bubbles of all sizes drift around her, and down at the bottom you'll find two flowers, a smaller bloom, tufts of grass and a round pumpkin with a curly stem. The big bubbles are simple to fill in, while the dress and boots give older kids a bit more to do. Purple for the hat and dress and bright orange for the pumpkin look great, with a pale blue or pink tint on the bubbles. Print the free PDF for a rainy day or classroom time. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big purple areas: color the witch hat and the dress with royal purple, leaving the hat buckle for later.
- 2Fill the face, hands and ears with peach skin, and color the girl's hair and the bottom of the sleeves with medium brown.
- 3Color the big pumpkin with pumpkin orange, then add the stem in medium brown and the stripes on the socks in pumpkin orange.
- 4Paint the bubbles with sky blue, leaving the small white shine spots on each bubble untouched.
- 5Add the flowers in golden yellow and soft pink, with the flower centers in golden yellow and soft pink, and color the leaves and stems in grass green.
- 6Finish with the details: charcoal black boots, the hat band in pumpkin orange, the buckle in terracotta orange, and the collar in light lavender. Optional: add a darker brown shadow under the hair for depth.
