Potion-Making Witch at the Moon Bowl
Coloring guide
Leaning over a big bowl, a smiling young witch in a buckled pointed hat stirs a bubbling potion with a long wooden spoon. Wavy hair flows over her cape, which is fastened with a round clasp, and the bowl is decorated with a crescent moon and two stars. On the wooden table in front of her you'll spot a corked bottle with a leaf label, a smaller bottle labeled with a star, a mortar and pestle, and some herb sprigs and loose leaves. A little shelf behind her holds a potted plant and another bottle. Small hands get lots to do with the wavy hair and bubbles. Purple works for the hat and cape, golden yellow for the moon and stars, and bright greens for the herbs and potion. It's a free printable that suits a Halloween afternoon or a quiet craft session at home or school. Fans of Witch coloring pages often like Ghost and Bat as well.

- 1Start with the big witch hat and cape: fill the hat with violet purple and the hat brim and band with dark purple, leaving the buckle's inner rectangle for a later step.
- 2Color the witch's face and hands with peach skin, and the wavy hair with ginger orange, adding burnt orange under the hair near the ears and shoulders.
- 3Fill the cauldron with charcoal gray and the mortar with peach skin, then add the bubbling potion in bright green and the moon and clasp in golden yellow.
- 4Paint the bottles in sky blue and the plant pot in terracotta, with the plant leaves in leaf green and the bottle labels in bright green.
- 5Color the wooden table, shelf, spoon, and herbs in warm brown, keeping the eye whites, bottle highlight, and the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker shade of violet purple along the folds of the cape for depth.
