Lunch on the Bench: Dog Man Pup and Goldfish
Coloring guide
A cartoon puppy with spiky head fur and a big round nose sits on a park bench, happily holding a sandwich with a bite out of it. Next to him is a round fishbowl, and inside a smiling goldfish nibbles its own little sandwich. Two ducks paddle on a pond with rippling water behind them, and a leafy tree, bushes and tall grass fill the background. Small flowers and grass tufts dot the ground below the bench. Large, clear outlines suit younger kids who are still building confidence with crayons. A warm orange-yellow for the puppy's fur, a bright orange goldfish and a soft blue pond will make the ducks stand out. Download it as a free PDF and keep a few extra copies on hand. - 2Fill the bench backrest, seat and legs with warm brown, and the leaves and grass with grass green and aqua green.
- 3Color the dog's shirt and collar with bright red and royal blue, then add the gold tag in mustard gold.
- 4Paint the fishbowl water and rim in sky blue and ice blue, the goldfish in amber orange with tangerine orange fins, and the gravel in soft yellow.
- 5Color the ducks bright yellow, the sandwiches pale cream, and the nose chocolate brown, keeping the flowers and eye whites white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the bench and dog's body edges to make the colors pop.
