A slender wolf with very long thin legs stands on a gentle sloping hill, turning its head to look back over its shoulder. Its big pointed ears stand tall, and the fur around the neck, chest and body is drawn in shaggy, feathery strokes. Leafy branches hang in from the top right and the left side, each with narrow pointed leaves and a visible center stem. The background is plain, so there is lots of open space around the animal. Try coloring the body in warm reddish orange and browns, then use a darker shade on the legs and ears to show contrast. Kids can also talk about why long legs might help a wolf move through tall grass. This free page works well for quiet time at home or in the classroom.
