Little Sugar Skull Resting on a Marigold Leaf

A big, ruffled marigold bloom sits on a curved stem, and a small sugar skull rests at its base on a pointed leaf. The flower is built from layered, scalloped petals spiraling out from a tight center, so you get everything from small inner petals to wide outer ones to color. Two more leaves branch off the stem on the left. The skull has large round eyes with flower-like rings around them, a heart on its forehead, swirly teardrop shapes, a heart-shaped nose and a stitched smile. Warm oranges and golds suit the marigold, and bright pinks, turquoise and purples can go on the skull's patterns. The PDF is free, so print it whenever you need a quick coloring break. This fits right in with our Sugar Skulls (Día de Muertos) coloring pages — see also Jesus / Bible and Good Friday.
