Monkey Doing a Handstand While Shaking Maracas

Monkey Doing a Handstand While Shaking Maracas coloring page

Coloring guide

A cheerful monkey balances upside down on its hands, with its legs stretched high in the air and a long curly tail swooping out to the left. It grins with its mouth open and its big round ear showing. In each foot it holds a maracas, and the little motion lines around them make it look like they are being shaken. Each maraca has a zigzag wave pattern and stripes on its round head. The bold outlines and big open areas, like the tail, the body and the maracas, are easy for small hands to color. Try using bright, contrasting colors for the two maracas and a different pattern on each, then ask kids to guess what kind of music this monkey is playing. It also works well as a quick warm-up for a printable music or rhythm lesson.
