Motorcycle Police Officer Riding Through the City

Coloring guide
A cheerful officer in a rounded helmet with a badge rides a big motorcycle down a city street. The uniform has a collar, a chest badge, a shoulder radio with a coiled cord, and tall boots. On the bike, look for a large windshield, three round headlights, a flashing light on the left side, and a storage case with a shield badge. Tall buildings with square windows, a few bushes and dashed road markings sit behind the rider. Big shapes and clear outlines work for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the badges and buildings give older children small details to enjoy. Deep blue suits the uniform and helmet, and red or yellow is good for the siren light. Print this free page for a quiet afternoon or a lesson on community helpers. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the officer's shirt and pants navy blue, and the motorcycle's front fairing royal blue, leaving the headlight center white.
- 2Paint the helmet royal blue and the bright blue stripes on the saddlebags and front fender, then add golden yellow badges on the helmet, chest and saddlebag.
- 3Fill the scenery: peach skin on the left building, pale sky blue on the windshield and right building, sky blue on the top and windows, lavender purple on the top of the far right building, and grass green on the bushes and grass.
- 4Color the face and hands peach skin, the light on top bright red, the left headlight red, and the turn signals orange.
- 5Add silver gray to the road, mirrors and wheel rims, and charcoal gray to the tires, boots and engine parts. Leave the road stripes white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the tires and the sides of the motorcycle for depth.
