Mulan and Li Shang Holding Hands Together

A tall man in a military-style outfit stands facing a young woman, and the two are holding hands at the center of the page. The man wears a long cape over one shoulder, armored chest panels, dark arm guards, a short skirt-like tunic, tall dark boots and a hair tie with a feather at the top knot. He looks down at her with his eyes closed and a gentle smile. The woman has long straight hair, smiles up at him, and wears a simple long gown with a wrap-style top, a wide waistband and a skirt that trails on the ground. These look like Li Shang and Mulan from the Mulan story. The big open shapes in the gown and cape work well for crayons or markers. Try soft colors for her dress and bolder darker tones for his armor and boots, so the two outfits stand apart. The free printable file also gives plenty of white space for a simple background.
