Mulan Cutting Her Long Hair With a Sword

A young woman kneels on the floor holding a long sword across her body while she gathers a thick section of her long, dark hair in one hand. Her other hand grips the sword's hilt close to the blade, as if she is about to slice through the hair. She wears a robe with wide, loose sleeves, a layered wrap at the waist, and a long skirt that pools around her knees. Her bare foot peeks out behind her. Large curved lines in the background look like fabric or a banner blowing in the wind, with a few straight lines across the floor. Since the hair is solid black, try bright reds, golds, and greens on the robe and let the black hair stand out. This free printable also works well for a short talk about brave choices and story moments.
