Mulan Hugging Her Horse Khan Close

A young woman with long dark hair tied low at the back leans in and hugs a large horse, one hand raised to gently touch his face. She smiles with her mouth open, and she wears a wrap-style robe with a wide sash at the waist. The horse bends his head down toward her with a calm, sideways glance. He has a shaggy forelock, pointed ears, long whiskers by his nose, a strap running across his body, and a tufted tail hanging near the bottom right. The big open shapes on the horse are easy for small hands to fill in. Try a warm chestnut brown or soft gray for the horse and keep the hair very dark, then pick two or three colors for the robe and sash so the girl stands out against him. This free printable also works well for a short talk about friendship between people and animals.
