Mulan in Soldier Armor Mid-Action Pose

A young woman in soldier's armor stands in a wide, braced stance with both fists clenched at her sides. Her head is turned to one side and her mouth is open, as if she is shouting or giving an order. Her hair is pulled up into a bun with a few loose strands near her face. She wears a layered outfit with large segmented shoulder plates, banded bracers on her forearms, a belt across the middle with a small rolled item tucked into it, and a scarf tied at the collar. Knee-high guards and pointed shoes finish the look. The big, clear sections suit markers or crayons well. Try one color for the shoulder plates and another for the tunic and skirt panels, then talk with your child about how armor is built from separate pieces. It also works as a printable for practicing careful coloring inside the lines.
