Underwater Word OCEAN with Seahorse and Striped Fish

Coloring guide
The word OCEAN sits in the middle of this underwater scene in big bubbly letters, each one decorated with little wavy water lines and small bubbles. At the top, a smiling seahorse with a curled tail and a spiky fin floats beside a round striped fish with a happy face. Two more striped fish swim near the bottom, surrounded by tall wavy seaweed, a small coral, a few rocks on the sea floor and lots of round bubbles in different sizes. Wide letters and large shapes make it easy for little hands, and the bubbles are good for practicing smaller details. Pick a different shade of blue or green for each letter, then give the fish orange and yellow stripes so they pop. It works well for ocean units, early spelling practice or a quiet afternoon at home or in class, and it's free to print. Fans of Words coloring pages often like Activity Sheets and Alphabet as well.

- 2Color the seahorse body and tail in deep orange, then add tangerine on the fins and crest.
- 3Fill the yellow fish with yellow on its body and fins, and color its tail and top fin in orange.
- 4Paint the blue fish in bright blue, with deep blue stripes and fins, and add a bit of lilac purple to the coral at the bottom.
- 5Color the seaweed in mint green and leaf green, and the bubbles in aqua blue or pale blue, leaving small white highlights.
- 6Optional: Add a little deeper blue on the bottom edges of the letters and fish to give them a bit more depth.
