Artist Octopus Painting by the Sea Window

Standing in a seaside art studio, a smiling octopus with big sparkly eyes holds a paint palette in one tentacle and a bunch of brushes in another, while a third tentacle paints at an easel. The canvas shows a simple sun above a flower with leaves, which is easy for little hands to color. Behind the octopus, a window looks over the water to a sailboat, a small lighthouse on a hill and puffy clouds. Shelves hold jars of brushes and shells, a framed shell picture hangs on the wall, and a leafy plant trails down from above. The wooden floor has a brush pot with a shell design, paint jars, a watercolor tray, a starfish and a few seashells. Purple or coral suits the octopus, and bright yellow works for the painted sun.
