- 1Start with the big panda areas: fill the ears, eye patches, arms, hands and feet with charcoal gray, leaving the white face and body untouched.
- 2Color the fan and the tangerine with tomato red, leaving the small flower shapes on the fan white.
- 3Fill the bamboo stalks and leaves with bright green, then add dark green to the bamboo nodes and the lower stalk for depth.
- 4Paint the inner ears, the mouth, and the foot pads with soft pink, keeping the eye shine highlights white.
- 5Optional: Add a little extra charcoal gray or dark green in the shadowed edges of the fan and bamboo to make the drawing pop.
