Penguin Door Hanger for Winter Hatchimals Fans
Coloring guide
Two round-eyed penguin Hatchimals cuddle up in the middle of this door hanger page. One sits with its little feet out front and wears a striped pom-pom beanie. The other has a tuft of feathers on its head, a long striped scarf, and one wing held out wide. Big snowflakes fill the corners and the space around the pair, and the Hatchimals logo runs across the top. The page is shaped like a real door hanger, with a dashed cut line and a circle for the doorknob. Down at the bottom you'll find a "Future Home of" line with blanks for your child's name and their Hatchimal's name. Icy blues and purples work well for the snowflakes, and a bright red or teal makes the hat and scarf pop. Print or download it free for the classroom or a rainy day. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big body of the left chick, including its belly and head, with cream, leaving the lighter tummy area bright.
- 2Color the pink chick's jacket, mittens and hat with bubblegum pink, keeping the white eye areas and the title letters untouched.
- 3Paint the wings, the wing tips and the top-left snowflake with sky blue and pale blue, leaving the snowflake outlines white.
- 4Add deep blue stripes to the scarf and ocean blue to the right chick's wing, then use teal on the left chick's wing.
- 5Use golden orange for the beaks and feet, and bright red for the pom-pom and the stripe on the left chick's hat.
- 6Optional: add a little dusty plum on the wing at the top and the fluffy edge of the pink chick for a softer, shaded look.
