Playground Visit With a Firefighter and Six Curious Kids

On a playground, a smiling firefighter in full turnout gear crouches down with a helmet in one hand and a hose nozzle in the other. A long coiled hose loops across the ground, and six excited children crowd in to watch. Two wear oversized fire helmets and hold the brims with both hands. Among the others are a child with curly hair, a boy with glasses seen from behind and a girl in a polka-dot top with a ponytail. A big fire truck is parked behind them near a brick school building with a slide and play structure, and a basketball hoop stands off to one side. The reflective stripes on the coat and pants are easy to find. Bright yellow for the stripes and classic red for the truck work well. Print it free for a screen-free activity at home.
