Crosswalk Walk With a Police Officer and Little Girl
Coloring guide
A female police officer is smiling as she crosses a striped crosswalk, holding a little girl's hand and raising her other hand flat in a stop gesture. She has a ponytail, a peaked cap with a badge, a collared shirt with a tie, chest pockets and a utility belt. The girl looks up with a huge grin, wearing a backpack, a hair clip, a long-sleeved top, a pleated skirt, tights and sneakers. A tall street lamp, a low wall and a couple of rounded bushes sit behind them. The page works nicely for road safety talks and community helper lessons, and it's free to print. Navy blue for the uniform and cap plus a bright yellow badge will make the officer pop beside the girl's colorful backpack and skirt. - 1Fill the officer's face, neck, raised hand and arms, and the girl's face, neck, arms and legs with light peach, leaving the eye whites and the crosswalk stripes white.
- 2Color the officer's shirt, short sleeves and pocket flaps with sky blue, then the trousers, necktie and cap with navy blue, and the cap band with dark gray.
- 3Color the girl's hair golden brown, her top and sleeves baby pink, and her skirt lavender purple, keeping her socks and shoes white.
- 4Fill the road between the stripes with medium gray, the sidewalk with light gray, the bushes with grass green, and the lamp post with forest green and its glass with pale yellow.
- 5Add golden yellow to the police badges and cap badge, and charcoal black to the shoes, belt, radios and shoe soles.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of navy blue or charcoal black along the shadow sides of the trousers and skirt for extra depth.
