Popeye Tips a Can of Spinach Into His Mouth
Coloring guide
Popeye stands in a burst of energy, tipping an open can of spinach over his mouth with one hand while the other fist is raised high. His forearms are huge and rounded, and the pipe-like arms below them end in small round cuffs. He wears his sailor cap and a sailor top with a wide collar and three round buttons down the front. His big legs and shoes are planted in a wobbly stance, with curved motion lines around his feet. A large spiky starburst outline fills the background, and short shake marks sit beside the can and fist. Try bright green for the spinach and the can label, then a classic navy for the shirt. Kids can also use the starburst to practice shading from dark to light. This page is free to print, and the bold lines are easy for small hands to follow.
